Making daily trips to feed and entertain Lola while my mom lives it up at the beach. Not sure if Lola will love me or hate me by the end of the long weekend since I keep sticking my phone to her face.

It was a time of innocence, when you left your door unlocked and candy bars cost a nickel. Not that those two facts are related, aww, damnit! Lemme start over. It was a carefree time when a young boy could learn to ride his bike, on sun-dappled streets. Hey! Why doesn't anybody help that poor kid? He skinned his knee! Oh I get it. I’d like to thank Taylor for being a friend putting up with me at my lowest last night.
- Saw my aunt for the first time in maybe over a decade and when I walked down the hall to approach her I wanted to turn on the hall light so I wasn’t some creepy silhouette but she thought I was going in for a hug so she kind of stopped mid-hug when she saw light come on and I noticed she was trying to hug too late so I ended up kind of petting her arm?
- Uncle asked “Are you getting smaller??”
- Then when my aunt and uncle were outside talking to me and my dad they were kind of just like “Yeah *sigh* insert-cousin’s-name is still grooming dogs but hopefully she’ll go back to school in the fall” and my dad was just like “nothing wrong with grooming dogs” and I could FEEL his sideeye towards me gawd.
- Do you ever wonder/worry if people talk about you when they leave?
